Resident Healer: Davida Moore
Each year we will have guest resident healers onsite to bring more offerings to you on your healing journey. These healers are trained and experienced within their various modalities, and have chosen to be here with us to offer their expertise to you. Please see below to learn about our current resident healer, their offerings, and your options for booking.

Davida is an indigenous psychotherapist that specializes in trauma resolution. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), a licensed Psilocybin facilitator, and the founder of Remedy Wellness.
Davida received her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide and is a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in Oregon. She is a graduate of the first cohort of the Entheogenic Medical Training Program at the Synaptic Institute. She is an initiate of the Academy of Oracle Arts and scholar of the sacred sciences of the ancients. Davida is passionate about understanding the totality of her clients as she draws from a holistic approach. She is passionate about helping individuals become their optimal selves through a variety of interventions such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), PSIP, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ancestral healing, mindfulness, movement, and art.
Davida’s passion stems from understanding the importance of self awareness. She believes increased self awareness leads to the capability and capacity to heal. Davida helps her clients understand the inner workings of their mind so they can begin to shift their thoughts and motives to design the life they want to live. They are able to respond to life instead of react which allows them to step into their power.
Davida is a world traveler and holds certifications among a broad range of topics including Ayurveda, health education, hatha yoga, and more.

Light Offerings
These are good options for someone needing a little extra support from a mental health professional.
1 hour mental health consultation: This session provides clarity on a specific area of life. We'll address all questions and I will provide recommendations and possible referrals so clients can achieve maximum optimization and self actualization. $150
1 hour integration session: This session is focused on creating a safe space to process emotions arising during the retreat. We will discuss daily habits when you return home and how to integrate newfound wisdom post-retreat. $150
1 hour Distress tolerance skills: This session focuses on teaching distress tolerance skills from DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) to increase nervous system regulation, mental clarity, and cognitive resilience. $150
Deeper Offerings
These options are ideal for the person that would like to spend your retreat time focused on your mental and emotional wellbeing. These sessions are designed to go deeper, offering more time and focus on your specific needs.
Mindful Tune Up (10 hours): $2,700
Possible modalities utilized: DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy that focuses on the four modules of Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance), IFS/parts work (Internal Family Systems), Coaching, Life integration, Emotional process, Life guidance,
This includes:
One 1 hour virtual preparation session before client arrives to Costa Rica
One 2 hour session on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
One 2 hour integration session on Saturday
One 1 hour virtual integration call once client is home about 7-10 days after the retreat
Somatic Intensive (10 hours): $3,500
Modalities utilized: Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (SIP) and integration
This includes:
One 1 hour virtual preparation session before client arrives to Costa Rica
One 2 hour SIP session on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
One 2 hour SIP session or integration session on Saturday
One 1 hour virtual integration call once client is home about 7-10 days after the retreat
EMDR Intensive (22 hours): $5,500
Modalities utilized: EMDR and integration
This includes:
One 1 hour virtual preparation session before client arrives to Costa Rica
Two 3 hour EMDR sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (6 hours of daily treatment)
One 2 hour integration session on Saturday
One 1 hour virtual integration call once client is home about 7-10 days after the retreat
Daily Routine Example for EMDR Intensive:
Morning: Morning exercise (yoga/walk) and a morning EMDR session.
Mid-Day: Lunch and rest.
Afternoon: A second EMDR session
Evening: Gentle reflection, meditation, and rest.
